Child and Family Services of the Upper Peninsula

CFS UPChild and Family Services is a private, non-profit agency with offices in the city of Houghton. The agency assists homeless persons and those with a housing crisis through its Housing Resource Center in Hancock. The agency also provides direct transportation services to consumers involved with its Project HOPE program.

Project HOPE is a runaway program for youth up to 17 years of age who can receive up to 364 days of services, including shelter and aftercare services. Project HOPE staff provide transportation to youth – often to their home school districts. The agency uses staff personal vehicles for transportation of their program clients.
