The Michigan Tech shuttles are free for Tech students, staff, and faculty.
The other route, the Downtowner, operates every 30 minutes from 10 am to 2 pm and passes through the M-26 shopping areas, City Center, and senior housing complexes. Demand-response service is available within and between the Cities of Houghton and Hancock from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday.
Houghton Public Transit also offers special services for community events such as Bridgefest. These services are announced as available and are generally free of charge.
